Thank you for your interest in becoming a Merit Badge Counselor for the Daniel Boone Council. Please complete the following information and click the submit button. Once the application has been submitted it will go into a database for approval. If there are any problems or questions with your application, we will contact you via email. You will only receive an email if there is a problem; after approximately 7 days, if you are approved your name will appear in the search feature on this page when you look up a badge by either Counselor Name or by Badge Name.

If you are a new Merit Badge Counselor for this year, you will need to go online and complete an electronic BSA Adult Application, this can be done by going to this link: https://my.scouting.org/VES/OnlineReg/1.0.0/?tu=UF-MB-414 if currently or previously registered, you will need your BSA Member ID number so it links to your existing account. You will also need current Youth Protection Training which is available online at: www.myscouting.org.

Your Merit Badge Counselor badge specific registration will not be approved and processed until the online BSA Adult Application and Youth Protection Training have been completed and approved.

This registration link will only allow you to register for ONE merit badge at a time. If you would like to be a counselor for more than one merit badge, you will need to fill this spreadsheet out numerous times. However, it will auto populate your name and contact info for any additional badges.

REFER TO THE MERIT BADGE SECTION OF THE GUIDE TO ADVANCEMENT FOR DETAILS ON THE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL BADGE.
